C. Grouted Rock

Traditionally rock layers have been used to provide protection to pipelines and cables. The size of rock and thickness of the layers can be significantly reduced by adding mastic grout to the placed rock. Excavation is reduced, installation time is shortened and the end product is more secure than loose rock.

Mastic grout is placed in-situ in depths of up to 20 metres and can be supplied hot in mastic boilers or in block form for re-melt when required.
